the time. But mistakes and miscommunication occasionally happen. All we ask
for is that you give us an opportunity to put things right. If you are not
100% satisfied with any part of our service, please call us immediately and
we will sort it out.
On projects such as loft conversions, garden offices,
flats, extensions, and refurbishments Cambridge Builders offers a retention
guarantee. It is a type of builder's guarantee: when a job is completed, you
pay the total amount less 10%. You retain the 10% for 3 months during which
you must check whether the work is to your satisfaction. If after the 3
months the work is still in a sound condition, you pay the remaining10%.
Certain jobs are not warranted: i.e. we cannot provide a warranty for cleaning gutters, as these will refill with leaves etc. Jobs such as sealing baths or showers are warranted for 3 months unless we have installed a bath in which case the warranty covers 12 months.
